The company was originally started in 1977 under the name "Datapower", to provide quality software solutions to the Supply Chain Management industry. The original software was developed on a Unix platform and in 2001 when the company was bought by Infocomm Pty Ltd the large task of re-writing the software from the ground up for a Windows environment was started.
